Teladoc CEO Jason Gorevic to be honored by New York eHealth Collaborative

NYeC Annual Gala and PATH Awards event will recognize health care technology leaders

PURCHASE, N.Y. (November 11, 2015) — Teladoc (NYSE: TDOC) Chief Executive Officer Jason Gorevic will be honored by the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) —a not-for-profit organization formed to improve health care in New York State through innovative health information technology —at its fifth annual NYeC Gala and PATH Awards Ceremony on Nov. 18 in New York City.

NYeC serves as a central point of coordination for health IT in the state, assisting providers in the transition to electronic health records and developing standards and policies to provide for interoperability. NYeC also runs the New York Digital Health Accelerator with The Partnership Fund for New York City, which facilitates pilot projects to help meet the health technology needs of providers.

According to NYeC, the 2015 gala event will celebrate and recognize recent innovation and achievement of those leading the mission to improve health care through technology.
