Pediatric Telemedicine in the Emergency Department: A Pair of Pre- and Post-COVID-19 Programs

Dr. Brodsky will discuss the current model of pediatric emergency medicine consultation services used at a tertiary care children's hospital. The use case describes the access of adult facilities to pediatric expertise which creates exceptional efficiencies in subspecialty care. In addition, a new COVID-19 triage and treatment telemedicine strategy for the emergency department will be discussed.
